Growing Notes

Part sun to shade with moist, well-drained soil. It is one of the more useful plants here for dry shade once established, which is a hard spot to fill. Keep it out of full Nevada sun, where the foliage scorches. Space about 15 inches apart and it fills in quickly.

Maintenance

Shear the whole planting back after flowering to refresh the foliage and tidy it. It roots as it spreads, so pull or cut the runners at the edge once a year to hold the line. If the center goes thin, lift and replant a few rooted sections in spring. Almost no other care.
